Frances Yip’s Shanghai Bund

Frances Yip started her singing career by winning in a singing contest. The renowned work Shanghai Bund (上海灘), composed by Joseph Koo and lyrics by James Wong, made her one of the most distinguished pop divas in Hong Kong. In the book, she shares the stories of her two marriages, and how she handled the distant relationship with her son and turned it into an intimate bonding. This important change made her to be the happiest grandmother with two lovely grandchildren. Yip also talks about her journey in fighting against breast cancer in 1996, and discloses her personal tips on staying healthy and positive.
